Titans’ rivals news: Colts’ D-Line starters, Texans coordinator retires

Here are some of the most recent headlines pertaining to the Tennessee Titans’ AFC South rivals, the Indianapolis Colts, the Houston Texans, and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Colts only have two spots locked down on D-Line (via Colts Wire)

Indianapolis’ defensive line coach, Brian Baker, believes the team has two of their four defensive line spots locked down for the 2020 season with Deforest Buckner and Justin Houston.

However, a battle in training camp will determine who occupies the other two spots.

Colts Wire’s Kevin Hickey believes the battle at the one-technique will be between Grover Stewart and Sheldon Day, while the spot on the edge could see up to five guys competing for it in Kemoko Turay, Ben Bangou, Al-Quadin Muhammad, Denico Autry and Tyquan Lewis.


Texans special teams coordinator Brad Seely announces retirement (via Texans Wire)

Houston has lost its special teams coordinator, as Brad Seely announced his retirement on Friday. Seely was the Texans’ special teams coordinator for the past two seasons and spent time with eight franchises in total.


Leonard Fournette schedules peaceful protest with Jags fans, citizens for Tuesday (via Jaguars Wire)

Jacksonville running back Leonard Fournette revealed the time and place where he will hold a peaceful protest in the wake of the tragic death of George Floyd while in police custody.

Fournette’s teammates also recently held a peaceful protest, as 21 players were joined by head coach Doug Marrone and general manager Dave Caldwell in a march in downtown Jacksonville.
