The Tennessee Titans have a massive Week 8 game on the horizon against an Atlanta Falcons team that currently sits in first place atop the NFC South.
Tennessee is coming off a much-needed bye week in which they finally got to rest and reflect. It certainly seems to have helped from a health standpoint. The Titans fielded a pretty healthy team on the practice field on Wednesday. Only quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) and tight end Josh Whyle (concussion) were absent from today’s practice.
Meanwhile, after missing the last few games with lower body injuries, wide receiver Treylon Burks, defensive back Elijah Molden, defensive lineman Teair Tart and linebacker Luke Gifford all returned to the practice field without any limitations on Wednesday.
Barring any setbacks, you’d have to imagine this is a good sign towards their potential return on Sunday.
On the relatively concerning side of things, it should be noted that starting center Aaron Brewer was in a yellow non-contact jersey during today’s practice. Meanwhile, cornerback Roger McCreary eventually left practice to go inside with the training staff.
