Titans RB Derrick Henry still in the running for ESPY award

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is advancing to the second round of the ESPY voting for the Best Play of last season.

Henry’s record-tying 99-yard touchdown run against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the pair’s last meeting of 2018 unsurprisingly performed very well in the first-round voting.

Here’s a look at the play.

The play is the No. 3 seed in the bracket-style voting, and will now contend with the No. 11 seed in Julie Ertz of USWNT’s tie-breaking goal against Brazil.

In that December meeting against the Jags, Henry rushed 17 times for 238 yards and four touchdowns as an essential part in the Titans’ 30-9 victory at Nissan Stadium.

On the season, Henry carried 215 times for 1,059 yards and 12 touchdowns.

The ESPYs will air on television Wednesday, July 10th at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. You can cast a vote in support of Henry by clicking here.
