Titans RB Derrick Henry named to NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2019

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry ended the 2018 season in dominant fashion after a slow start.

In the last four games of the year, he compiled 532 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. By the end of the season, he had rushed for 1,059 yards, the second-most in the AFC.

Of those rushing yards, 238 came in a 30-9 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Dec. 6, where Henry had a historical game filled with personal bests that included a 99-yard touchdown run.

Because of this, it’s not very surprising that Henry landed on the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2019. The network ranked him at No. 99 overall.

This is the first time Henry has been recognized to the annual list.

On his career, he totals 501 carries for 2,293 yards and 22 touchdowns over 47 appearance in three seasons.

NFL Network will continue to release 10 more players each evening for the next nine days at 8 p.m. CT.
