Titans QBs coach connects with birthmother after lifelong search

Tennessee Titans quarterbacks coach Pat O’Hara, 52, recently revealed that after a lifelong search he has found and connected with his birthmother.

O’Hara took to Twitter to announce the amazing news and shared a picture of himself with the woman who he called “beautiful inside and out” and “the strongest person I’ve ever met.”

“It took half a century to find and connect with this amazing woman. So blessed and thankful to meet my birthmother who is beautiful inside and out. The strongest person I’ve ever met. Thank you for giving me life and accepted me after all these years…I love you ! #ImAnAdoptee,” O’Hara wrote.

The quarterbacks coach, who played his college ball at USC, had a brief stint in the NFL as a player but never saw game action. O’Hara later moved on to play in the Arena Football League, where he won three titles in total with two different franchises.

O’Hara has spent the past three years as the quarterbacks coach for the Titans, coming aboard in 2018 with head coach Mike Vrabel.

Before that he had multiple stints as a head coach in the AFL, and also served as the Jacksonville Jaguars’ director of player personnel (2014) and as an offensive assistant with the Houston Texans (2015-17).

The 52-year-old has put together an impressive movie career as well, acting in “The Waterboy”, “Any Given Sunday” and “The Longest Yard” while also serving as a consultant in “We Are Marshall” and “Invincible”, among others.
