Titans players, Twitter react to Jadeveon Clowney joining Tennessee

On Saturday night, ESPN’s Dianna Russini reported that the Tennessee Titans are expected to sign free-agent pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney, a player the team has been pursuing for close to six months now.

It was a long, winding road to get here, but the Titans finally appear to have their man. Now, the Titans will go from having a suspect pass-rush to a formidable one with Clowney, Harold Landry and Vic Beasley all in the mix.

As you can imagine, the hype from Titans players was through the roof, and the move garnered quite the reaction from the rest of the football world.

Take a look.

The Titans will have to get Clowney in as soon as COVID-19 protocols will allow them to in order to get him ready for the Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos on September 14.

According to Josina Anderson, that process will start as early as Sunday morning when Clowney is expected to arrive in Nashville.

The good news is Clowney has experience in the Titans head coach Mike Vrabel’s defense, so he should get up to speed rather quickly.
