Despite being on the road for their Week 15 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Tennessee Titans are currently listed as favorites to start the week.
According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Titans are 2.5-point favorites over the Steelers, with the over/under set at 41.5. The spread and over/under are tied for the second-lowest of any Week 15 game.
The Titans enter this matchup off a 20-0 shutout victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. At 9-4, Tennessee has a chance to clinch the AFC South with a win combined with an Indianapolis Colts loss.
The Titans are also sitting in the No. 2 seed in the conference behind the New England Patriots, the Colts’ Week 15 opponent.
The Steelers sit at 6-6-1 and in last place in the AFC North after losing to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14. Pittsburgh is No. 11 in the conference playoff picture and desperately needs a win to keep its floundering playoff hopes alive.
These two teams last met in Week 7 of the 2020 season in a game that was originally postponed and moved to a later date due to the Titans’ COVID-19 outbreak. Pittsburgh went on to win the contest, 27-24.
Tennessee is 8-5 against the spread in 2021 and has hit the over in seven of 13 games. The Steelers are 5-8 against the spread and have hit the over five times.
Tennessee and Pittsburgh will kickoff from Heinz field at noon CT on Sunday.
