Titans’ OLB D’Andre Walker set to miss the 2019 season

Tennessee Titans rookie OLB D’Andre Walker has been placed on IR following an injury he suffered during training camp. Walker was the Georgia Bulldogs’ sack leader last season. The Titans have been decimated with injury and retirement at the outside linebacker position this off-season.

The Titans are going to see minimal impact from their rookie class in 2019. With first round pick Jeffery Simmons projected to miss the season with a torn ACL, the Titans’ rookie class was already hurting before the Walker injury:

Tennessee lost Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo to retirement, so they’ll need another player to step up. One of the primary concerns for Walker was the health of his groin, which lead to him falling to the fifth round of the NFL Draft.
