Hardly any player on the Tennessee Titans roster is as known for his personality and antics as left tackle Taylor Lewan is.
He’s made multiple appearances in all types of media, and even has his own podcast now that he hosts with free agent linebacker, Will Compton.
Newly signed Titans offensive lineman Rodger Saffold made note of Lewan’s personality when he spoke to the media earlier in the month.
According to the veteran, Lewan’s ways help everyone strive to perform at a high level.
“You love having personalities on the team like that. It makes the meetings a lot more fun. With him, that personality is dragged into the weight room, you know. It’s making people super competitive and guys want to worked harder and lift more,” he said.
In a way, Lewan’s attitude is helping Saffold feel more comfortable as he adjusts to a new atmosphere.
“When he brings out that personality, I kind of bring out my personality.”
Playing together on the same offensive line in the upcoming season, it will be interesting to see what the pair can accomplish as the unit as a whole looks to improve after recent seasons of regression.
