Titans non-committal on Elijah Molden, Caleb Farley for Preseason Week 2

One of the biggest questions going into the Tennessee Titans’ Preseason Week 2 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is: will 2021 NFL draft picks and cornerbacks Caleb Farley and Elijah Molden suit up?

While both players have been participating in practice, neither one played in Preseason Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons, with Vrabel specifically noting that Farley, who did travel with the team, simply wasn’t ready to play.

If you were looking for an answer to the question above, unfortunately head coach Mike Vrabel did not provide one after the second joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday.

Vrabel was non-committal on either player, saying that their statuses for the exhibition contest against Tampa Bay on Saturday have yet to be decided.

Vrabel wasn’t very forthcoming on Thursday altogether, as he was also mum on the statuses of wide receivers Julio Jones and A.J. Brown. Jones hasn’t practiced since Aug. 2, while Brown sat out both joint practices.

Tennessee and Tampa Bay will square off on Saturday night, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Bucs head coach Bruce Arians has already stated he doesn’t expect the team’s starters to play. We’ll see if the Titans take the same approach with theirs.
