Titans’ Mike Vrabel praises Caleb Farley’s rap skills

When the Tennessee Titans drafted cornerback Caleb Farley with the No. 22 overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft, they figured they were getting a very good football player if he could stay healthy.

However, after Farley made his training camp debut on Monday, head coach Mike Vrabel noted in his post-practice presser that Farley is a rapper, and a pretty good one in his eyes and the eyes of his teammates.

“I love coaching him… He’s already written two raps,” Vrabel said. “We get him up there, he’s a first-rounder, so he’s in charge of the entertainment sometimes. I told him ‘be ready to go.’ He got up with a notebook, he had it written out; guys liked it, I liked it. He’s got a great personality, I’m excited to watch him play. This was a good step — a great step in hopefully a long career here — to get him out there on the practice field.”

Farley was a limited participant in his first practice with the Titans. Tennessee will continue to ramp him up in the days ahead.

In case you missed it, you can check out some of the work Farley did during the early portion of Titans practice on Monday right here.
