Titans’ Mike Vrabel gives update on injured players for Week 11

The Tennessee Titans got back to work at Saint Thomas Sports Park on Monday in preparation for Sunday’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

The team is desperately looking to get back on track after dropping three of its last four games, and it will be interesting to see which of the Titans’ currently injured players can take the field for the contest.

Cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, tight end MyCole Pruitt and wide receiver Adam Humphries were among the team’s inactives for Thursday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts due to injury.

Players like cornerback Kristian Fulton and running backs Senorise Perry and Darrynton Evans are on Injured Reserve for now, but are expected to return in the near future. Evans in particular was designated for return on Monday.

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel gave an update to reporters about the team’s walking wounded, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.

“The extra time should help,” he said. “I think they are all getting closer, but time will tell. I think they are all working hard to get back, and then we’ll evaluate them if they are able to practice. If they can do some stuff today, we’ll see how they look, we’ll see how they respond to that work and then we’ll keep moving towards a decision later in the week.”

The head coach also said that Humphries remains in concussion protocol after suffering one in the Week 9 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Humphries has missed action against the Chicago Bears and the Colts since sustaining the injury.

The Titans are set to take on the Ravens at noon CT on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.
