Titans make roster moves, trade for Packers LB Reggie Gilbert

It’s not a secret that Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson loves a good trade.

And he struck another one on Wednesday night.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Titans had traded a seventh-round pick for Green Bay Packers linebacker Reggie Gilbert.

Trade: Packers are dealing LB Reggie Gilbert to the Titans for a seventh-round pick, per sources.

Gilbert has appeared in 18 games for the Packers over the last two seasons, recording 28 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

The Titans also waived tight end Cole Wick and linebacker Josh Smith, per the team’s Jim Wyatt.

Gilbert will most likely take on the role the Titans envisioned for D’Andre Walker before he landed on injured reserve this year.
