Titans LT Taylor Lewan suspended, will miss game vs. Browns

It seems the Cleveland Browns Week 1 opener against the Tennessee Titans just got a little easier. Tennessee’s starting left tackle, Taylor Lewan, has been suspended for the first four weeks for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Lewan is one of the NFL’s better all-around tackles and is coming off a Pro Bowl season. He figured to provide Browns EDGE Myles Garrett with a stiff challenge in the opener in Nashville. Instead, Garrett and Olivier Vernon will face off against a backup, perhaps former Browns OL Austin Pasztor.

There is no immediate word if Lewan will appeal his suspension.
