Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan didn’t react too kindly to being called a “fake tough guy” by Buffalo Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson after Sunday’s 14-7 loss.
A day after Lawson made those comments, Lewan took to Twitter with his reaction, calling him out for making such bold statements without having an impressive stats sheet to back him up.
Lewan also said that Lawson was simply using his name to gain some extra clout.
Needless to say, the Bills have a pretty stout fan base, and Lewan’s words didn’t go over well with the Mafia.
Though it’s clear Lewan was pretty fired up about the whole ordeal, he had to give some credit to the Bills fans, who had a solid turnout last week in Nissan Stadium.
Lewan and the Titans will get back to the action when they face the Denver Broncos in Mile High Stadium at 3:25 p.m. CT on Sunday.
