The Tennessee Titans’ offensive line may have regressed as a whole in 2018, but that doesn’t mean every member of the unit performed badly.
Left tackle Taylor Lewan was one player who shined in particular, starting in 15 games.
He also made his third Pro Bowl appearance of his five-year career back in January.
“I expect to be the best tackle in the league – that is my goal every single year. I am very happy about the last three years,” he said earlier in the year.
Lewan graded out highest as Pro Football Focus’ top-rated tackle in the AFC South for the 2018 season, with an overall grade of 76.4.
This placed him exactly one point ahead of a tie between teammate Dennis Kelly and Indianapolis’ Anthony Casonzo.
The Titans will hope for continued upward momentum from Lewan – and a better effort from the line overall – as the team prepares for the 2019 season.
