Titans’ Logan Ryan calls out the Browns fan who poured beer on him

Sunday was a rough day all around for the Cleveland Browns. After heading into the season with legitimate Super Bowl hype, the Browns watched as the Tennessee Titans ran them out of FirstEnergy Stadium.

The 43-13 loss understandably frustrating, but that’s no excuse to do what one Browns fan did after Malcolm Butler’s pick-six.

As Butler and his Titans teammates celebrated the touchdown with some Tennessee fans in the stands, a Browns fan could be seen dousing the players with beer. Logan Ryan took notice and attempted to swat the beer bottle from the fan’s hands.

That was when the fan poured more beer at Ryan.

Come Monday, Ryan called for the NFL to take action against this fan.

And Ryan was exactly right here. The cost of a ticket should not give fans the entitlement to do whatever they want to athletes. You can’t touch players if they don’t want to be touched. And you certainly should never throw beer on a player.

Let’s hope that the league and the Browns identify this fan and keep him away from future games.
