Titans LB Kamalei Correa fined for hit on Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew

Tennessee Titans linebacker Kamalei Correa has been fined $21,056 for his hit on Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew.

The NFL’s officiating department said that Correa’s helmet indeed made contact with the signal-caller’s chin.

The call was obviously a controversial one, and Titans coach Mike Vrabel did reach out to the league about it last week.

The Titans failed to stop Minshew and the Jaguars in that game, falling 20-7 in TIAA Bank Stadium.

The team will look to snap a two-game losing streak as they take on the Atlanta Falcons at noon CT on Sunday in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
