Titans LB Jayon Brown experienced major turnaround in 2018

Many Tennessee Titans players showed improvement as the team nearly made a run for the playoffs in 2018.

One particular player that really redeemed himself was linebacker Jayon Brown. While it’s easy to see just how much of an impact player Brown was on defense simply by going back through last year’s film, it’s also evident by the numbers.

A recent release from Pro Football Focus showcased this perfectly. The network marked him as a second-year standout, listing drastic difference between his 2017 and 2018 grades.

In 2018, Brown recorded 97 tackles, six sacks, six passes defensed, one interception and one touchdown.

Continuity and steady upward momentum are two things multiple members within the Titans organization have emphasized as they prepare for the 2019 NFL season.

Expect Brown to be a key element in achieving those goals as he continues to become an even more important player in Dean Pees’ defense.
