Titans land Jalen Ramsey, George Kittle in PFF’s 4-round NFL re-draft

The Tennessee Titans seem to be on the right track to becoming consistent postseason contenders with all the right pieces in place — particularly in quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Derrick Henry.

But what if the Titans could have a total do-over, able to re-draft their entire foundation?

That’s precisely the hypothetical scenario Pro Football Focus came up with in one of the network’s latest articles.

In the re-draft, all current NFL players are available, the order is the same as the 2020 NFL Draft, only one quarterback was allowed per team, contracts don’t matter and the goal for each team is to compete for a Super Bowl within a five-year window.

Here’s a look at the way the Titans’ re-draft shook out:

Round 1 (29): CB Jalen Ramsey
Round 2 (36): TE George Kittle
Round 3 (93): QB Colin Kaepernick
Round 4 (100): Edge Danielle Hunter

“I’m going to go with a guy that we haven’t been that high on for a couple of years,” PFF’s Kevin Cole wrote. “But if you look at the NFL and the trade value that he gets, they’re very high on him. I’m going to go with Jalen Ramsey here. … You have a true lockdown, No. 1 cornerback that really provides a lot of value potentially for the defense. He’s a guy who’s young, and there just aren’t many guys out there like him.”

It would be curious to see what the Titans could accomplish with all of these names on roster, and it will be interesting to see if we see any of these players in a Titans uniform in the future.
