Titans’ Kevin Byard, Anthony Firkser to host youth football camps

A pair of Tennessee Titans players, tight end Anthony Firkser and safety Kevin Byard, will each be hosting their own youth football camps this year.

According to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online, Byard’s free camp is scheduled for July 24, running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT at Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro.

The camp, entitled “The Byard Family Legacy Youth Football Camp” is for boys and girls, ages nine to 16. If interested, you can register here.

“At this camp, we go through a ton of drills,” Byard explained. “I am able to talk to the kids, not only about football, but about life. I think it is huge for me for me to (have) camps for kids that are aspiring to be NFL superstars, to see my face at these camps, and see me giving back.”

Firkser’s own camp, which will be held on June 13th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT at D1 in Cool Springs and is for boys and girls, ages seven to 16, will also feature some fellow Titans, including Logan Woodside and receiver Mason Kinsey, among others.

The cost of Firkser’s camp will be $65 and all proceeds will go to Caring Hearts, a charity the tight end works closely with. For more information, including how to register, click here.
