Titans’ Kendall Lamm leaves Day 10 practice early with apparent shoulder injury

Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Kendall Lamm left Day 10 of training camp early because of an apparent shoulder injury, per John Glennon of Broadway Sports.

Lamm is currently vying for the starting right tackle job and was listed as a co-starter on the team’s first unofficial depth chart, along with fellow veteran offensive lineman, Ty Sambrailo.

While it isn’t clear if the injury is serious, this is bad timing for Lamm with Sambrailo participating in team period for the first time on Monday as he continues to work his way back from a foot injury suffered last season.

The competition appears to be down to the two veterans, as 2021 second-round pick, Dillon Radunz, has struggled in camp and wasn’t even listed among the right tackles on the first depth chart.

Earlier in training camp, Lamm said his goal is to start, but he’s ready to help the team in any way he can, no matter how things shake out.

“Whatever happens, happens… this is a crazy game. Excuse my language, but (expletive) happens. That’s just what it is. So, at the drop of a dime you’ve got to be prepared. For me, we’ve got a long camp ahead, so whatever comes, whatever spot I get… but I don’t necessarily try to put too much on the plate,” Lamm said. “Let’s not kid… I don’t think anybody ever played football not to want to start. Since I was eight years old, I wanted to start, but at the same time I’m not going to sit here and focus on that; in the back of my mind, possibly.”

The Titans will return to the practice field for their 11th session of training camp on Tuesday. Lamm’s injury will be one to monitor moving forward.
