The Tennessee Titans placed kicker Stephen Gostkowski on the team’s Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday.
The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for players who test positive for COVID-19 or players who have been quarantined for having close contact with an infected individual or infected individuals.
Teams are not able to say whether a player has been exposed or has tested positive for the virus, but must address a player’s roster status in these cases.
In 2020, Gostkowski has made 18-of-26 field goal attempts for the Titans, also good for 46-of-48 point after attempts.
The Titans are set to face the Houston Texans in NRG Stadium for the season finale.
Sam Sloman is signed to the Titans practice squad, and it’s reasonable to assume he could take Gostkowki’s place for the upcoming game.
