Titans’ Julio Jones expected to play in Week 7 vs. Chiefs

Despite being listed as questionable, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones is expected to suit up in Week 7 versus the Kansas City Chiefs, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Jones, who had missed Week 4 and 5 with a hamstring injury, returned to the field in Week 6 but didn’t finish the game. It isn’t clear if the Titans were just being precautious or if he had re-injured himself.

Jones tried to talk his way back onto the field, but it didn’t work. His day was finished after just 35 snaps and three catches for 59 yards.

“I feel pretty good,” Jones said on Friday, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online. “The weather was nice today, it wasn’t too hot. I was able to get out there and move around. I wasn’t fatigued. So, I feel pretty good.

“This week, I feel great, I feel good. And I’m excited about Sunday.”

We expect a similar workload for the star receiver in Week 7. The Titans have been taking it slowly with both of their top wideouts so far this season, as A.J. Brown also hasn’t played a full complement of snaps lately.
