Week 2 of the XFL’s second debut is in the books.
This week’s action was highlighted with performances from former Tennessee Titans players, some of which saw more more time in the NFL than others.
Here’s a look at just three players who made a stop in at Nashville who showed up on the stats sheet on Saturday and Sunday.
1. DB LaDarius Wiley, Los Angeles Wildcats
Wiley’s presence wasn’t felt in quite the way it was back in Week 1, but he was a standout player on the defense, quietly cracking his way into the team’s leader board.
He tallied four tackles on Los Angeles’ 25-18 loss to the Dallas Renegades.
2. DE Gimel President, St. Louis Battlehawks
President has been an impact player through the first two weeks of the season, and showed up early with a tackle on the team’s first go on defense on Sunday.
The former Titan finished the game with four tackles, coming up with stops on some the game’s biggest plays.
The Battlehawks recorded their first loss, falling 28-24 in a matchup that went down to the wire.
3. WR MeKale McKay, New York Guardians
Saturday wasn’t a good day for the New York Guardians — to put it plainly.
McKay was one of the small highlights on offense, though, finishing the game as the team’s top receiver.
The fact he did it by reeling in three receptions for 30 yards with a long of 18 yards showed how limited the passing game was, though.
