Titans’ IDER plan has been approved by the NFL

The rest of the Tennessee Titans’ players are set to report for training camp on Tuesday, and the team seems to be as ready to go as it possibly can be.

With the league-wide report date set for July 28, the Titans’ Infectious Disease Emergency Response (IDER) plan is one of 20 that has been approved by the NFL.

Each team was asked to come up with its own plan for safety and health guidelines as the league looks to avoid the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

The other 12 teams with plans not yet approved are currently under review.

Training camp as a whole will obviously look much different given the circumstances, as players will be tested for COVID-19 when they arrive, which will be followed by a 20-day ramp-up period before players take the field for practice.

An individual player must test negative three times before being able to spend an extensive period of time in the facility.
