The Tennessee Titans have done their fair share of homework on South Carolina wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
The team met with him on March 27, and will host him on a pre-draft visit on Tuesday. He took to social media Tuesday morning with a photo as he was getting a tour of St. Thomas Sports Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
Samuel was a key part of the Gamecocks’ offense, recording 62 receptions for 822 yards and 11 touchdowns. He did not participate in South Carolina’s bowl in light of preparations for the NFL Draft.
Over 30 games for the Gamecocks, Samuel has racked up 148 receptions for 2,076 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was also a force on the ground, totaling 25 carries for 154 yards and seven touchdowns.
Samuel also had 42 kickoff returns for 1,219 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 29 yards per return.
He impressed at the combine as well, running a 4.48 40-yard dash.
The Titans have already made moves at receiver this offseason with the addition of Adam Humphries from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will be interesting to see if Samuel is a part of their plans as well when they get to the draft board on April 25.
