Titans HC Mike Vrabel set to participate in 2019 Music City Polar Plunge

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is committed to helping out Special Olympics athletes in the state this year.

So committed, in fact, that he’s willing to jump into freezing cold water in an effort to collect donations for the cause.

According to the “Dunk Coach Vrabel” page created by the Music City Polar Plunge 2019, $20,000 is needed for the play-caller to jump into 38 degree water this February.

There’s also the option to join in on “Dunk Coach Vrabel” team to take the dive on February 16th. All participating plungers on the team will get the opportunity to meet Coach Vrabel and be in the team photo.

The three fundraisers that raise the most money on the team will also have the chance to plunge with Vrabel and two Special Olympics athletes.

The Titans were successful with the cause last year, writing a check to Special Olympics Tennessee in 2018.

Those interested in supporting the effort can donate by going to the online fundraiser page.
