The Tennessee Titans head into this offseason with less holes to fill than they usually have at this time of year.
With quarterback Ryan Tannehill and running back Derrick Henry locked down, the issues at the highest of Tennessee’s priority list are taken care of.
But one move the team could make that certainly wouldn’t hurt is adding an edge rusher.
Former Michigan Wolverine Josh Uche presents an option, and the Titans have already taken some interest in him.
Uche didn’t participate in on-field drills at the combine, but had formals there with the Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Baltimore Ravens and other teams.
And Uche really stressed the latter part of that.
“Any team you can name, I’ve probably done something with them at some point,” he said in a report by Draft Wire’s Justin Melo.
Uche totaled 35 tackles (23 solo), 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two passes defensed in 2019.
Over the past two seasons at Michigan, Uche has racked up 48 tackles (35 solo), 15.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three passes defensed.
Uche is largely considered by draft analysts to be a backup initially who could eventually take on a starting role in the NFL.
