The Tennessee Titans took a chance when they drafted former Mississippi State defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons.
Not only did Simmons have some questionable character concerns – which were later dismissed by most – but he is also still very much in the recovery process of a torn ACL sustained in February.
Based on one of Simmons’ recent Instagram posts, his rehabilitation is coming along nicely.
At first glance, this doesn’t seem like much, but does serve as at least some type of indicator of positive progress.
Whether or not the past Bulldog will take the field for the Titans remains to be seen, but to know he’s on the road to being back at full health has to give the team some comfort.
There is still no clear timetable as to when Simmons will be ready to make his NFL debut.
