Titans crush Lions, earn first double-digit-win season since 2008

The Tennessee Titans are officially over the old 9-7 hump after beating the Detroit Lions in Week 15, 46-25, to move to 10-4 on the season and remain in first place in the AFC South.

For the Titans, they have now secured their first double-digit-win season since 2008, which is a huge step forward for this franchise.

Tennessee’s defense wasn’t great but did enough to keep the Lions’ offense in check. While Matthew Stafford and Co. were moving the ball with success for much of the first three quarters, the Titans were able to force a pair of turnovers in the red zone to thwart two potential scoring drives.

However, the Titans’ prolific offense gave more than enough room for error in this one. Ryan Tannehill was as sharp as could be, and Derrick Henry was his typical dominant self on the ground. Corey Davis also shined once again for Tennessee’s passing attack.

Here’s a more in-depth look at what went right for the Titans on Sunday.
