The Tennessee Titans staved-off a Houston Texans comeback and barely took care of business in Week 18 with a 28-25 win — and in doing so secured the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs for the first time since 2008.
With the win, the Titans will get the week off next week and are just two wins away from making it to Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.
The Titans looked like they were going to totally run away with this game after grabbing a 21-0 halftime lead on the strength of three second-quarter touchdowns, but the Texans showed life in the final two quarters and scored 18 unanswered to make it a game.
With the Titans clinging to a 28-25 lead late in the fourth quarter, the offense was able to orchestrate a four-minute drive to run out the clock and secure the win.
