Titans CB Logan Ryan has a unique off-the-field talent

Many fans know Tennessee Titans cornerback Logan Ryan for keeping opposing offenses on their toes.

But he’s got a unique talent off-the-field that doesn’t receive quite as much publicity.

He’s got a way with animals and has been called a “Dog Whisperer.” He’s fielded several questions from teammates in regards to their pet problems, including one from quarterback Marcus Mariota on potty training.

“They always think I can fix all their dog’s problems,” Ryan said in a report by the team’s Jim Wyatt. “I try and send them to my wife – she does that.”

Ryan is very involved in animal welfare, and runs the Ryan Animal Rescue Foundation with his wife, Ashley. They’ve hosted several events and have raised money for the cause, with the ChowDown! Foodie Gala Event serving as the pair’s latest undertaking.

The sold-out event in downtown Nashville raised roughly $160,000, surpassing the original goal by nearly $60,000.

“(Animals) don’t have a voice for themselves,” Ryan says. “Every cause is great, but this is a cause where they can’t speak for themselves and what they need, and I feel like I can be someone to speak for them.”
