Titans’ Cameron Wake holds second-highest pressure percentage among edge defenders since 2016

The Tennessee Titans knew they were getting a reliable player in outside linebacker Cameron Wake when they made the decision to add him to the roster during free agency.

Despite being 37-years-old, Wake has still proven to be an effective player over recent seasons.

When Pro Football Focus released a list of edge defenders with the highest pressure percentages since 2016, with 16.7 percent.

Only Von Miller was ahead of him (17.1) and both Brandon Graham (16.0) and Justin Houston (15.3) trailed him in the rankings.

On the 2018 season, Wake totaled 36 tackles, six sacks and one pass defensed. Entering the 11th season of his career, the veteran has recorded an all-time 360 tackles, 98 sacks, one safety, 16 passes defensed and one interception.

Expect him to carry this success over to Nashville in 2019.
