Titans-Bills: a look at the all-time series

The Tennessee Titans and the Buffalo Bills will square off for the 47th time On Sunday.

The last meeting between the two teams was Oct. 7, 2018 when the Bills handed the Titans a loss at New Era Field, 13-12.

The game also marked head coach Mike Vrabel and Sean McDermott’s first-ever meeting at their positions against each other and the opposing team.

It wasn’t a good day for the passing offense of either team.

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota was 14-of-26 passing for 129 yards and an interception, while Bills signal-caller Josh Allen was 10-of-19 passing for 82 yards and an interception.

The previous time the two teams played on Buffalo’s turf, the outcome also came down to just one point, with the Titans pulling off the 35-34 victory.

Looking at the history alone, we can expect this to be a close matchup. The Titans lead the all-time series with a record of 28-18-0.

In matchups where the Titans were still wore the Oilers name, Tennessee leads the series, 22-15-0.

The Bills are on top in playoff meetings, though, with that record standing at 2-1.

It will be interesting to see which team gets the win as the Titans and Bills face each other at noon CT On Sunday in Nissan Stadium.
