Titans agree to terms on 1-year deal with OLB Reggie Gilbert

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension  with outside linebacker Reggie Gilbert, according to the team.

The exact money figure is not yet know. Prior to reaching an agreement with Tennessee, Gilbert was set to become an exclusive rights free agent but is now locked into Nashville for 2020.

Gilbert was acquired last August in a trade with the Green Bay Packers in exchange for what turned out to be a 2020 sixth-round pick.

The former undrafted free agent out of Arizona played in 11 games (five starts) for the Titans in 2019, totaling one sack, three QB Hits, 22 combined tackles (one for loss) and one pass defensed.

Gilbert is the third Titans free agent that the team has re-upped with. Previously, the team re-signed wide receiver and return man Cameron Batson, as well as tight end Anthony Firkser, both to one-year deals.

The Titans now have 19 of their own free agents left to make decisions on.
