Titans add former AAF players Logan Woodside, Keith Towbridge

The Tennessee Titans have added two players formerly of the recently dissolved Alliance of American Football.

On Monday, the team agreed to terms with quarterback Logan Woodside and tight end Keith Towbridge.

Woodside is a familiar name to Tennessee, as he spent time with the Titans last season before later joining the San Antonio Commanders in the AAF.

Woodside appeared in seven games with San Antonio, completing 112-of-192 passes for 1,353 yards and seven touchdowns, with seven interceptions.

He’ll now join Marcus Mariota and Ryan Tannehill at the position in Tennessee.

Woodside originally took snaps for Toledo before being drafted in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Towbridge, who played collegiately at Louisville, saw action with the Buffalo Bills before playing for the AAF’s Atlanta Legends.

After the league folded last week, Woodside and Towbridge are just two of many players making the jump to the NFL.
