Titans’ A.J. Brown to be activated from IR, will play in Week 16

The Tennessee Titans are expected to have wide receiver A.J. Brown for their Week 16 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers at Nissan Stadium on “Thursday Night Football.”

According to multiple reports, Brown is expected to be activated off Injured Reserve by the Titans ahead of the contest and will indeed play in his first game after a three-game absence due to a chest injury.

Brown’s return is a big one for the Titans, as the offense has struggled to move the ball through the air and score points, especially in the last four games where Tennessee has tallied just 14.8 points per contest.

For the first time since Week 9, the Titans will have both Brown and wideout Julio Jones on the same field. The star-studded duo has played together in just six games this season.

In 10 games, Brown has recorded 46 catches for 615 yards and three touchdowns. Tennessee and San Fran will kickoff at 7:20 p.m. CT.
