Titans’ A.J. Brown has knee injury, but expected to be ready for Week 1

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown has apparently come down with a knee injury during training camp that has kept him out of practice recently, but it reportedly won’t keep him from starting the regular season on time.

The news comes from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It isn’t clear which knee Brown is having issues with, but the good news is he’s expected to be ready for the Week 1 contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 12.

Brown had issues with both knees during the 2020 campaign but was able to play through them, and at a high level. Despite missing two games, Brown still posted a 1,000-yard season and scored 11 times.

Following his sophomore campaign, Brown had surgery on both knees. He has looked fantastic in the training camp practices he has taken part in this year but hasn’t played a snap during the preseason.

After this latest revelation, we wouldn’t expect to see him suit up in Preseason Week 3 against the Chicago Bears on Saturday.
