It seems the fallout of Julian Fellowes's big budget but poorly received remake of the Titanic has hit other ITV shows below the waterline. The cast of Wild at Heart, the long-running show about a British vet running a reserve in South Africa, says it is a victim of the (financial) sinking of the Titanic. Titanic cost at least £11m but failed to bring in the mega-viewers such a lavish drama would have been expected to, with "sources" on Wild at Heart claiming ITV is penny pinching elsewhere to claw back some of the costs.
