TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) executive officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy inspected the centralised command and control room of the vigilance and security department at Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district.
He later reviewed the progress of the renovation works along the Alipiri pedestrian route on Tuesday.
Chief vigilance and security officer Gopinath Jatti IPS briefed TTD EO about the functioning of the command control centre, use of various analytics and on the overall use of the state of the art security apparatus at use.
While appreciating the vigilance and security department's measures in providing a foolproof security cover to the temple as well as the visiting devotees, Reddy called upon the department to adopt more advanced technology while moving forward.
Later, while inspecting the ongoing renovation works along the Alipiri footpath route, TTD EO directed chief engineer Nageswara Rao to speed up the works and complete them before September ahead of the annual Brahmotsavams scheduled in October this year.
