The Lord Venkateswara temple here continued to witness heavy pilgrim crowds for the third day on Thursday.
As an immediate measure, the TTD permitted the common pilgrims for darshan uninterruptedly since morning.
According to statistics, about 88,748 pilgrims had the darshan of the deity on Wednesday, of whom 46,400 had the sarva darshan while 25,819 preferred special entry tickets and the remaining 25,819 opted for arjitha sevas, virtual sevas and other darshan formats.
The temple hundi created a record of sorts by fetching over ₹9.20 crore in the last two days while a record 80,000 people had their heads shaved at Kalyanakatta in fulfilment of their prayers.
