TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is implementing FASTtag at its Alipiri toll plaza on a trial basis to provide a hassle-free access to the devotees visiting Tirumala on a pilgrimage.
The TTD's vigilance and security wing led by deputy inspector-general of police Gopinath Jatti held a series of meetings with the representatives of FaSTtag in the past.
They managed to bring Alipiri toll plaza into the cashless mode by facilitating FASTtag access on a trial basis.
