Sportify Wrapped brings listeners an annual feel-good recap of their most played music from across the year.
However, the viral annual trend only comes around at the end of every year, and we still have a little more time to wait before users get their Wrapped summary.
However, fortunately, curious Spotify fans can actually check their statistics ahead of time, thanks to the handy analytics available within the app.
Although the analysis doesn’t give listeners a breakdown for the full year, Spotify fans can take a look back at their top listening trends from across the last month.
“Available to Free and Premium users in more than 60 markets worldwide, this new feature shows your top artists and songs from the past four weeks, and it serves up playlists inspired by what you love or tracks you might want to queue up next,” the update reads.
“Each week, it also includes a special highlight that captures what makes your listening unique, whether it’s a milestone, a new discovery, or a fan moment.”
What are Spotify’s new listening stats?
Spotify’s new listening stats allow you to see a weekly breakdown of the songs and artists you listen to most from across the past four weeks.
The app also gives you shareable updates that you can post on social media and contacts.
It also includes suggestions of artists you may be interested in, and the most popular playlists users enjoy.
How to see Spotify’s new listening stats?
Viewing the new Spotify analysis is pretty easy.
All you need to do is head to the small profile icon located in the top left-hand corner of the app.
In the drop-down menu, you’ll see a new “Listening stats” option, which you can press to see all the data the app has collated based on your listening data.
When is Spotify Wrapped out?
If the new listening statistics aren’t enough, Spotify Wrapped is almost here, and with it, a robust breakdown of everything you’ve listened to.
As in previous years, Spotify Wrapped usually drops at the beginning of December.
Once it goes live, you should see a notification in the app where you can see all your listening.
