Tired Joe Wicks slashes online workout classes to 3 days a week as he needs 'a break'

Joe Wicks has announced that he'll be slashing his uber-popular online workout classes to three days a week.

The Body Coach, 33, has been instrumental in lifting the mood of the nation as his almost-daily workout videos have been keeping spirits up across the country.

But it seems as though the frequent sweat-filled clips have taken a toll on the father-of-two, as he admitted he "needs a break" and a chance to get some rest.

Speaking to fans in his latest workout video, Joe said: "Thanks for joining me again for another week of training. I've got a little bit of an announcement though."

"This is going to be the last full week of PE With Joe. So I'll be doing Monday to Friday this week, but as of next week I'm going to reduce the timetable slightly - I'm going to do Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

"You can still come and take part but I'm just reducing the timetable, I just need a bit of a rest really, a little bit of a break."

His workout videos have been consistently racking up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.

When schools were shut back in March, Joe vowed to become the nation's PE teacher and started teaching lessons via his YouTube channel.

After seeing his viewing figures rocket, Joe launched several spin-off ideas so that adults can get involved too.

His '7 Days of Sweat' challenge proved to be a hit across the nation, which sees fans copy 20 minute work-outs for seven consecutive days.

Joe has admitted he's not raking in all the profits from his channel after saying he turned down offers from the likes of Channel 4 and the BBC to broadcast through them.

By keeping his content strictly to his YouTube page Joe has ensured fans around the world can watch him for free whenever they wish.

He is also graciously donating all his advertisement revenue to the NHS.
