Tips to prep your skin for that family wedding

It is that time of the year when we all want to let ourselves float in the air of festivities. With the wedding season knocking at our door, we all can’t wait to indulge in fun, family meetups, and delicious food. And these functions are the best opportunity to give your skin some much-needed TLC and let that inner glow come out during the festivities.

So, make that family wedding the best excuse to pamper yourself. Even with your busy schedules and limited time, you still can glow like a diva with some useful and easy tips, as suggested by Arthi Raguram, Founder of Deyga Organics.

Cleansing is must

A cleansed face is a must for your skincare products to work effectively and also for your makeup to sit properly. Use a mild cleanser every night before you hit the bed to get rid of the dirt and grim. Cleansing also ensures that your pores are unclogged and there are no makeup residues left on your skin. Opt for a moisturizing cleanser if you have dry skin and oily skin people can choose a gel-based one.

Scrub it off

If you are looking for that soft and supple skin to turn heads around this wedding season, then exfoliation is your best option to go for. Exfoliating your skin will make sure that the dead skin cells are removed and you have a smoother texture. Take some fine coffee powder and mix it with olive oil and gently massage your face for 2-3 minutes. Follow it up with a moisturizer to have bright and beautiful skin.

Glowing face masks

All you need is some last-minute face masks to glow yourself up. Using a facial ubtaan is extremely beneficial for the skin especially when you are looking for a quick fix. Mix some curd, besan, and turmeric together and make a smooth paste out of it. Apply the face mask and keep it for 20 minutes until it feels semi-dry. Then slowly massage the face mask on your skin and finally rinse off with water. This facial ubtaan instantly brightens up the skin and adds a healthy glow to the skin.

Massage your face with a facial oil

Facial oils are concentrated with potent ingredients which work wonders for the skin. Opt for facials like kumkumadi thailam which is known to visibly improve the texture of the skin and helps to fade away blemishes and spots. Massaging your face will boost blood circulation to the face and your face will have a natural glow.

Nourish your skin

Do not skip your moisturizer. Apply a hydrating moisturizer containing hyaluronic acid which will help to retain the moisture on the skin and gives plumpness the skin. Besides, you can use a rose water spray to hydrate and refresh your face. Also, drink plenty of water to nourish yourself from within.
