A Tipping Point contestant made history by bagging the show's biggest ever cash drop.
Ben Shephard was back today with another set of hopefuls ready to win a £20,000 cash prize. From today's line-up was Phil from Cornwall who ended up solidifying himself in the Tipping Point hall of fame as he made one of the biggest pulls in the show's history.
In the first round, Phil dominated the competition as he fired counters at his competitors, preventing their bank balances from rising. When it came to filling his own, in only attempt, Phil managed to obtain the most counters any contestant has ever received with a massive 22 coin drop.

Even with the huge £1,100 pay-out, Phil was lucky enough to push the 2x multiplier coin over the edge too, doubling his total to £2,200. Taken back by the move, Ben Shephard said he'd never seen anything like it in the series' 1,000 episode run.
Viewers also couldn't believe their eyes but many were quick to declare the rest of the game was pointless for other contestants. Taking to Twitter, one comment said: "This is the #TippingPoint equivalent of being six-nil up after ten minutes, it really doesn't matter what happens from this point onwards."
Another added: "Can I play please?” Of course you can, but there’s very little point #TippingPoint."
