Tipping Point viewers were horrified as Ben Shephard asked a rather personal question to engaged contestant Katie.
While chatting to Ben in between rounds, Katie revealed she had been engaged to her partner, Jason, for five years.
Ben asked incredulously: "Five years Katie...Isn't that a long time to be engaged?"
An awkward-looking Katie replied : "It is... He keeps putting things off so..."
"I can't believe that!" replied Ben.
"Yeah, we've always got something in the way of it...You know...
"We've just recently bought our own house and we've just been doing that up so it's been taking a backseat," she explained.
Katie went on to say she had a nine-month old daughter called Freya who was "lovely".
But viewers took to Twitter with a stark warning for poor Katie.
One wrote:"He keeps putting things off maybe he’s giving you a hint Katie #TippingPoint ".
Another added: "ooh Katie.. Engaged 5 Years and he keeps putting it off?! TAKE THE HINT!! #tippingpoint ".
"Engaged for five years is that telling you something Katie #TippingPoint " added a third.
Viewers were also taken aback by Katie's particularly chatty teammate Colin, with some predicting he might be after Ben's job.
One wrote: "Colin loves talking. #TippingPoint ".
Another predicted: "Colin is the type of person that starts talking s***e to you in the pub when all you want is a quiet drink. #tippingpoint ".
"You’ll still here Colin backstage doing his commentary #TippingPoint " joked another.
"See you Colin you can narrate your train journey back from Bristol for all your fellow travellers now. #TippingPoint " added a fourth.
