Tipping Point viewers can't get enough of contestant's 'wacky' shirt

A Tipping Point contestant stole the show with his brightly coloured Hawaiian shirt.

The ITV quiz show was back today with another round of contestants ready to take on the larger than life coin drop. As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, the number of contenders has dropped from four to three despite a cold response from viewers urging the show to return to its roots.

However one contestant stood out from the crowd in today's show as his 'wacky' appearance hit a good note with viewers. John was today's final competitor after he aced the show, allowing viewers to take in his shirt in all of its glory for as long as they could.

Playing a solid game from the beginning, John racked up more than £4,000 in cash. Regardless of his trivia knowledge, all compliments went towards his fashion sense. Rocking a bright red Hawaiian shirt, viewers were enamoured with the bold choice.

One viewer said: "Someone had to pull off a wacky shirt, and that someone had to be John #TippingPoint". Another viewer said he was ready for a holiday as another comment, along with a heart emoji, read: "When you've got tipping point at 4pm but a trip to Hawaii at 5pm #tippingpoint".

Some viewers even thought there was a celebrity line-up as they likened John's looks to a famous musician. A final comment said: "#tippingpoint is it a celebrity version today? Looks a bit like Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees."
