Tipping Point viewers astonished as player is 'spitting image' of soap star

Tipping Point viewers could not believe how much player Lesley on Wednesday's repeat looked like a soap character.

They took to Twitter to exclaim that she was the spitting image of EastEnders' 'Big Mo' Harris, played by Laila Morse.

Lesley was introduced by host Ben Shephard at the start of the show, playing against fellow contestants Wayne, Sarah and Keiron.

She told the audience she was a retired office worker from Kent.

One viewer wrote: "Good to see Big Mo from Eastenders having a bash! #tippingpoint."

Another said: "Big Mo from Eastenders on #tippingpoint today Lesley".

A third declared: "I reckon Leslie could find work as a big Mo lookalike from EastEnders #tippingpoint ".

"Lesley reminds me of Big Mo from EastEnders #TippingPoint " remarked another.

Lesley performed fantastically in her quick fire round, accumulating £1,750 with her general knowledge prowess.

And when Sarah threw Lesley a tough question that she could not answer, Lesley managed to get it right.

The question was: "In which Shakespeare play would you hear the line, 'Beware the Ides of March'?

Sarah said: "The only Shakespeare I've ever read was at high school, a long time ago, so I'm going to pass it over to Lesley."

Lesley said: "Erm, it's not my best... But I've got a feeling it's something to do with Julius Caesar."

Ben replied: "Julius Caesar, let's find out, is the answer Julius Caesar, it is! Well done Lesley! Absolutely right! A great steal."

But Lesley's tipping point was £2,000 and Sarah got through to the final round - but Lesley did leave with a case of wine as a prize.

* Tipping Point airs on weekdays on ITV at 4pm
